Python is a unique programming language like no other, applied in many high profile it-must-work scenarios. Its elegant design and straight forward syntax allows every developer on projects to really get things done and it enforces many best practices like code style without requiring separate policies. I have applied Python since 2002 and fell in love with it ever since.

The many libraries that are available for it provide a very rich and high level set of building blocks allowing to create software applications for mostly every use case. I have used it for scripts managing files and my personal life, as for applications that are of potential use for others.
